How do I start using Vendio Handmade?

If you are reading this, it means you just started your Vendio Handmade account. Congratulations! 

After you register for Vendio Handmade you are welcomed in this view:

Click the "Start now!" button and proceed to the next step:

Etsy Setup

To link your Etsy shop to your Vendio account click the blue "Continue to Etsy" button. You will then be redirected to Etsy to sign into your Etsy account. Follow the steps to agree to link the two accounts, and the process is complete.  If you do not have an Etsy shop or you do not want to link your Etsy account into Vendio, click the "Skip this step" link and you will be directed to the next available setup.

Import Etsy Products

Once your Etsy account is linked to Vendio you can import your products directly during the setup flow:

To quick start your Etsy products import click the "Import all my Etsy products" button. The import process will start shortly.

If you want to customize the import, click the "Advanced import settings" link and choose your settings:

• You can choose to import all items or only those that are currently live.
• Next choose the item allocation strategy that you would like to use. If you want to share your inventory quantity across the marketplaces where you sell then select the "Shared" strategy. If you want to specify which of your quantities go to which marketplaces then select the "Committed" strategy. The "Unlimited" strategy is used if you want to keep selling regardless of your inventory quantities.
• Select which profiles you want associated with the Vendio inventory items. Profiles are not used for Etsy listings, but are used for other marketplaces.

The import process can take a few minutes. You can check the status of the import under "Items" --> "Import Items" by clicking the blue "View Import Status" button. Once the import is complete the items will be available under "Items" --> "My Items" in the "Etsy-Imported" folder.

If you do not want to import your Etsy products, you can skip this step and you will be directed to the next available setup.

Amazon Handmade Setup

To link Amazon Handmade to your Vendio account click the blue "Link your Amazon Account" button. You will then be redirected to Amazon to sign into your account. Follow the steps to agree to link the two accounts, and the process is complete.  Please make sure you are approved to list your products on Amazon Handmade and you own a US Amazon Seller Central Pro Merchant account.

Click the blue "Install Add-On" button to start installing the Vendio Amazon Handmade Listing Add-On. With this add-on installed on your preferred browser we will be able to publish your handmade products  on Amazon Handmade on your behalf. Currently the Vendio Amazon Handmade Listing

All Done!

Once your setup is complete you will be directed to your handmade products view to manage your inventory. 

eBay Setup

To link eBay to your Vendio account first click on the "Preferences" link that is at the top right under your account name. Then select "Channels" from the drop-down box at the top of the page. In the eBay section click the "Add New" button. You will then be redirected to eBay to sign into your eBay account. Follow the steps to agree to link the two accounts, and the process is complete.
